FAQ
Questions we get asked
Everything people ask before booking, answered here. If something is missing, write to us: we reply within the hour.
How much does a trip cost?
You book the whole boat, not a seat: from 500 € for the half day, food and drinks included. The price is the same whether you are two or twelve.
How do I pay?
30% online when you book, the balance on board on the day. The online payment goes through Stripe: your card details never pass through us.
How far ahead should I book?
In July and August the best dates go two or three weeks ahead. Outside the peak a few days are usually enough, and last minute is always worth asking.
Can I cancel?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. Within 24 hours the deposit is not refunded, unless the trip is cancelled for weather.
What if the weather turns?
The skipper decides, and safety wins. If we can't sail you choose between a new date and a full refund of what you paid.
Is the trip really only ours?
Always. There are no shared departures: whoever books has the boat for the whole trip, with no other group on board.
Where do we leave from?
Molo Sant'Elmo, Su Siccu, in front of the Bonaria basilica. There is free parking along the pier and boarding is 15 minutes before departure.
What route do you take?
We agree it on the morning, following wind and sea: Cala Mosca, Cala Fighera, Cala dei Colombi, the Sella del Diavolo and Poetto are the usual stops.
Can we bring our own food?
You don't need to: food and drinks are included. If you want something specific on board, tell us when booking.
How do you handle allergies?
That field is mandatory when booking for exactly this reason. What you write reaches whoever prepares the menu, and the morning boarding list.
Are children welcome?
Yes, accompanied by an adult. Life jackets for children are on board and worn while under way.
Do we need to know how to swim?
No. There are life jackets for everyone and the swim stops are always in sheltered water.
Can we bring pets?
Small pets, yes: let us know when booking so we can get organised.
What should I bring?
Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and light-soled shoes. A light sweatshirt for the way back is a good idea: it cools down at sunset.
